Current Status

Bluebird Psychiatric Care has begun activating insurance contracts.

Now accepting:

• Aetna

• United Behavioral Health (UHC / Optum)

• Cigna / Evernorth

All other appointments are currently self-pay, and Medicare is not accepted.

We know insurance access is important, and we appreciate your patience as we continue expanding in-network options.

Insurance Plans in Progress

We are actively finalizing contracts with:

• BCBS / Carelon Behavioral Health

• Credentialing with Medicaid managed care plans, including Colorado Access, Rocky Mountain Health Plans (RMHP), and Colorado Community Health Alliance (CCHA), is in progress.

Medicare

Bluebird Psychiatric Care is not a Medicare-enrolled provider. Patients with Medicare coverage may still be seen on a self-pay basis at the full appointment rate. Unfortunately, superbills cannot be reimbursed by Medicare due to federal billing restrictions.

Self-Pay Rates

• Initial Evaluation (60–75 minutes): $325

• Follow-Up (30 minutes): $175

• Extended or Complex Follow-Up (45–60 minutes): $350–$400

These rates apply for all self-pay appointments, including Medicare-covered patients.
